Peace of Mind Pet Care was founded in 2010. We proudly serve clients living in the river towns and surrounding area of Westchester County, NY. We believe animals improve our lives daily, and at Peace of Mind Pet Care, we aim to reciprocate the love and loyalty received. 

Our outings with your dog are intended to be the highlight of your pets day. We present an opportunity for your dog to truly be a dog, from adventuring in the woods to expressing themselves amongst their pack mates, our aim is to help your pet get the most out of their life.

House Sitting

House sitting is available for pet parents that will be away from their homes during the day or night for an extended period of time. Our trained professionals will keep your dog occupied and happy while you are away. 

**Cancellations within two weeks of the planned trip dates are subject to a 40-50% charge of the trip total.

20 Minute walk

Need a quick bathroom break or some kibble set out? Our dog walkers are able to come in for a quick bathroom break and/or feeding.  

Daycare

Daycare is crafted for dogs that need to be out of the home a bit longer, or need extended time to fulfill their energy needs.  At Peace of Mind Pet Care, we can ensure your dog will return home exhausted and smiling.
 

45-60 minute group Walks

Grant your dog the opportunity to get to know other sweet pups and our lovely, trained walkers. These outings are crafted around your pets comfortability and exercise needs. Our walkers organize group walks and compose cohesive packs with complementing personalities and play styles, ensuring your dog has a great time out. We offer local neighborhood walks, walks/hikes in wooded areas such as Rockefeller State Park Preserve and safely enclosed off-leash trips. Your pets safety and happiness are our number one priority. 

Puppy Training

Help your newest family member transition smoothly into your life while learning the basics of dog care in a loving, positive atmosphere. During these sessions, our CPDT-KA Trainer will go over crate/potty training, mastering basic commands and assist your puppy in adjusting to the structure of your home.

At Peace of Mind Pet Care, we understand that every dog has its own individual needs. For dogs who may be older or less energetic, a 20 minute walk is a great option to let your dog get some fresh air and stretch their legs.

Pack hike 45-60 Mins

Give your dog the ability to roam the beautiful woods in Westchester County with his or her furry friends. The pack hike promises a happy and tired dog returning to your home.

Boarding Per Night

Overnight care includes morning and evening feedings, bathroom breaks throughout the day, and a 45-60 minute excursion for your dog. We offer overnight services in your home and boarding in the homes of our attentive, loving team members.

Additional $25 for a second pet.

Daycare

We start daycare at $55 for 3 hours, with an additional $10 per hour after that. Daycare offers your dog a loving human companion and a variety of canine playmates and locations. Your dog will get to interact with other pups with corresponding play styles, go on pack hikes, and smell new scents. Daycare is a wonderful opportunity for your dog to be outdoors and do what she/he loves.
